体制内最后的气功机构:上海气功研究所

「导读」1999年,少数邪教和有害功法使整个气功界受到影响,到今天,当年的气功热似乎已经成为了遥远的集体记忆。整个八九十年代,大约有6000万到2亿的气功练习者。在21世纪后,气功迅速由热转凉,甚至成为”过街老鼠”。在大众认知中,气功与负面联系在一起,作为古老修身养性方式和传统文化哲学的一面却被世人淡忘。

而今天还存在一家官方的、体制内的专业气功机构,令不少人惊讶,国内的气功机构在那个时间点纷纷关门,上海市气功研究所,作为上海中医药大学的附属单位,堪称硕果仅存。

据说当年上海有关部门比较开明,决定给气功所一个机会。

这个曾经的气功热重镇是坐落在徐汇区的一幢三层小楼,走进去,内部有着严谨的部门划分,却又飘散着上世纪的怀旧气息:已经有近三十年的历史了。

上海市气功研究所

诞生时,正值气功最鼎盛狂热的时代,之后是不可挽回的颓势和举步维艰。它究竟经历了什么?又怎样延续下去?被曾经轰轰烈烈又拐向荒诞、诡谲的热潮打下了怎样的烙印?

所长李洁告诉记者,长久以来她都回避媒体的采访,这样的“冷”的状态已经持续了很长的时间。

1999年之后,老同志渐渐退休了,却没有新人补充进来,气功所同时面临严重的生存压力。

之后的管理主要归“体育口”。前不久当气功所设计新logo时,收到的设计方案都是武术动作。“不不不,这不能充分表达我们”,最终还是由所里的人绘制了一个太极的图案。

气功的内涵太多,涉及所谓身心灵的几乎所有面向。

一直以来,气功都是被归为中医学下面的一个三级学科,想学气功方向只有学针灸推拿专业。而气功只有针灸推拿专业这么窄吗?这只是它最实用主义的部分。“气功”的"气”来自中医理论,背后是中国的宇宙观和深厚的儒释道传统。

对气功的研究长久以来也是沿着医学、科学的路子,医史文献背景出身的李洁决心加强的是其中人文传统和哲学的比重,她正在为此筹措着更多的研究资金。

两次气功热已经过去了,第三次还没到来,这次希望的是回归国学的本来面目。一直在冷,“但冷也有冷的好处,可以把问题想清楚”。

作为一个研究者和学者,李洁感觉时机快到了,这是一个倒过来借国外来说话的时代。美国NIH(国家卫生研究院)连续做了多年研究,在德国、法国,气功已经进入了医保体系,现在又赶上了中国传统文化复兴。“时机不对,很难获得别人的理解。”

关于沉默的过去,李洁也表示:“我终于可以跟你聊聊气功,可以面对媒体,因为我们真的做过反思。”

上海市气功所斑斓史:曾站在气功热的高潮

上海市气功所究竟经历了什么?它的第一个前身——上海市气功疗养所已经有57年的历史了,1957年,那是一个建国后的疗养院时代,那段历史已经超出了年轻人的记忆和想象。

建国后医疗资源非常有限,而且慢性病也没有很好的药物和方法,罹患这些疾病的老革命们非常需要不一样的疗法。

“气功”最初由一个叫刘贵珍的人提出。他用“气功”来概括在“导引”和其他各家各派功法中发现的东西,因为它们都涉及到精微的中医之“气”。后来的汉学家把这一尝试视为中国气功现代化诠释的开始。

之后气功便风靡了疗养院。

1955年,唐山建立了有史以来的第一个气功专业机构——唐山市气功疗养所,后者因为对气功疗法的临床观察获得了卫生部的表扬。

这是新中国的第一次全国性气功高潮,乘着天时地利人和,得到了政府的大力支持,陈毅、林伯渠、谢觉哉等领导人纷纷进行了练功或题词。

上海市气功疗养所是全国最早的三家气功专业单位之一,受当时卫生部委托举办了“全国气功师资进修班”。

之后是“文革”,“文革”是气功的冬天,民间的气功和中医都遭到了严格的限制。1976年“文革”结束之后,气功才渐渐在大众中重获解放,并掀起了第二轮气功浪潮。国家科委、国防科工委、国家安全部等重要部门都对气功进行了研究,新华社等众多媒体做了不遗余力的宣传。

1978年是标志性的一年,气功跻身科学的行列。上海市气功研究所的第二个前身上海市中医研究所,与上海中医学院、中国科学院一道,用现代科学仪器对“外气”进行了测试,证明“气功”之气是有物质基础的,使气功进入了科学的行列,成为探索生命科学的新课题,从而把气功科学研究推进到一个新的阶段。

李洁在采访中常常感念地提到钱学森,正是他认为气功应当从属于生命科学的范畴。

而李洁认为更重要的历史性时刻是1979年的“气功汇报会”,这是一场空前的盛会,甚至得到了国务院领导的支持,由国家科委、国家体委、卫生部、中国科学院等单位在北京联合召开。

这个事件轰动全国,留在一代人的心中。它整合了不同的学科,如物理等学科都开始研究同一个问题。在这之后,各地采用仿生学方法模拟气功师发放的红外信息,制造了气功红外信息治疗仪。

如果说“气功报告会”是第二轮气功热的高潮,那么其中最主要的科学内涵就体现在上海市气功研究所。

因为前面这些工作的铺垫,1985年,上海市中医研究所进行了方向调整,开始以研究气功为主要工作方向,成立了上海市气功研究所。将原有的气功研究室扩充为气功原理研究室、气功效应研究室、气功文献情报研究室,并开设了气功医疗门诊部。

现在上海市气功研究所医疗门诊部依然开在南昌路的繁华地段,科学会堂附近,是一幢民国老建筑,优雅的小洋房。定位为中医药类的非药物治疗为主,虽未打过广告,却应接不暇。

门诊部所在的老洋房最初是一个医生的寓所,为了帮助共产党,还曾有过地下的电台架设在那里。

从1985年起,上海市气功研究所就开始自己筹办“上海•国际气功科学研讨会”,迄今已经办了12届,在国外有很大的影响力。

目前上海市气功研究所既搞科研,又做医疗,还进行教学、培训和文化传播。

出现在名单上的气功功法包括:放松功、站桩功、导引养生功、六合功、医疗八段锦、六字诀、回春功、易筋经等。这些字眼比起外来的瑜伽等功法远为令人陌生,“在这里学气功的外国人都跟我说觉得诧异,他们自己是千里迢迢来学,但为什么中国年轻人却不喜欢,瑜伽已经变成了每个人都要练一练的时尚,自己的东西却无人问津”。

一位来自法国的青年人类学学者来到上海市气功所学习气功,他热爱气功,并一直希望能留下。

气功热发展到90年代出现了众所周知的乱象,偏离了方向,各种真假大师出现,部分人对特异功能的偏执追求徘徊在超自然和伪科学的边缘。

少数邪教和有害功法使得整个气功界受到了影响,然后是气功“两个高潮、两个低谷”的第二个低谷。

就复杂的历史和思考中的未来,李洁接受了记者的专访:

澎湃新闻:怎样评价八九十年代的气功热?

李洁:最主要的是方向没把准。气功之所以热是因为有一定的效果,但方向却迷失了。当一股热潮热到一定程度时,往往会走偏掉。大众变得盲目,只追求表象,如特异功能的异象,内核的东西却流失了。作为老百姓,身体不好时希望改善是人之常情,在练习的过程中又体会到一些特殊的东西,体会到了,却不理解,如果被指引的偏掉,那就走远了。改善了身体之后,接下来的应该是养性、明心、见智,去悟真正的道。

为什么后来气功热走到了一个极致?出现了所谓的伪气功、伪大师,一旦他们开始追求名、追求利、追求个人崇拜和敛财,民众要有理性判断。我认为甄别真假很容易,你就看他作为一个指引者自己追求的是什么。大师的德性太重要了。

由于气功、内功等具有较强的实践性,深入学习就需要老师指点才不至于走弯路。对此,我们建议初学者最好去正规的培训机构接受有资质老师的教学,同时加强自身中国传统文化的熏陶,以便更好地把握气功锻炼的精髓,让传统气功能够为当代人的身心健康服务。

澎湃新闻:现在的练习者来自来自官方还是民间?

李洁:有一些政府机关和机构会邀请我们去教气功。我们是从去年年底才开始开班的,我们一直有很大的生存压力,但并没有因此就去盲目追逐利益,每周有对民众开放的免费公益公开课和气功史陈列馆,这是因为感觉到大的氛围在变化,民众有这样一种需求。我们一直很担心这块牌子可能被理解不准确的人利用。明年我们建所30周年,会出一个对我们核心理念的阐述。方向不准,还不如冷着,倒不至于害到别人。

1999年之后,气功转向体育口,走比赛、考级的路线,对正面普及民众肯定有好处。

澎湃新闻:您对气功的学科定义怎么看?我们知道气功有复杂性,有无法量化为数据的部分。

李洁:两次气功热,首先是医疗的需要,身体的需要,然后是科学的需要,第二次气功热就是科学带动的。只有看得见摸得着的才是科学吗?科学有两块,既有自然科学,也有社会科学。从研究角度,既有定量的,也有定性的。所以我们的定位,一个是现代科学,一个是传统文化,都要做。

人文社科可做的很多,我们已经在做了,但是说实话,资助很有限,因为整个中医门类都是放在自然科学中的。中医的人文社科比重特别重,我们气功就更特殊了,我们所里会贴一些钱来做这些事。

现在有一个很好的契机,上海市卫计委中医发展办公室的“新三年上海中医药发展计划”中,有一个版块叫“文化建设”。我们也去申报了,可能明年能得到这方面的资助,做一些文化研究、文献梳理和文化传播。

澎湃新闻:国外对“气功”一词的使用是怎样的?

李洁:气功在国外就直译为Qigong,也有人想过意译,找一个对应的单词。但钱学森钱老说了一句话:怎样翻译都可能翻不清楚,内涵太多了,让老外慢慢学习去吧。

澎湃新闻:气功在国外的流行状况是怎样的?

李洁:从80年代,气功就开始在国外被关注。在德国、法国,气功很早就进入了医保体系。欧美国家是非常推崇气功的,基础研究和临床研究都做了很多。美国NIH(国家卫生研究院)每年都资助气功研究,还有资助研究冥想(meditation)的,类似于我们的静坐,还有太极拳的研究等等。欧洲的方式不同,基础研究较少,临床观察较多,在现代医学收效甚小的领域,如抑郁症、高血压、糖尿病、颈椎病、腰腿痛、慢性疲劳综合征、肿瘤后期康复,就会找到气功。

这是从医疗的角度,国外也有一些传播者,是从中国传统文化的角度切入的。有人通过练习气功,幸福指数和社会适应度都改善了,从生命体验的角度变得不一样了。尤其是欧洲人,更注重对生命本身的感悟,而美国人更在意现代科技。

近年来,在世界范围内的气功热是很明显的,这种现象一方面与当代中国政治经济地位大幅提高有关,同时也是我们传统文化的独特魅力之使然。

澎湃新闻:那么上海市气功所在国际交流中有哪些感受?

李洁:我们长期和加州大学尔湾分校的校长合作,他是生物物理学家,一直在用物理的方法研究气功。美国一个民办的气功大学也在跟我们谈合作,他们的学员遍布北美、欧洲、澳大利亚。法国巴黎东方文化中心也一直在和我们合作,日本气功学会也一直和我们保持着联系。

我们一直在办国际培训班,学员很多是企业高管和领馆工作人员,很多人来中国寻找气功的缘起,然后找到了我们。我们也希望外国人的热情能带动中国人的关注。

我们在国际交流中,越来越深切地感受到,中国地位提高和传统文化魅力这两种因素同时并存,而气功、养生文化作为一种软实力更容易在当今发挥出积极的民间作用。我们希望气功研究的学者、气功锻炼的受益者、中华传统文化的爱好者们联合起来,推动未来的发展。我对未来是乐观的。

align=\"center\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http://thepaper-prod-oldimagefromnfs.oss-cn-shanghai.aliyuncs.com/image/4/194/279.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"></p><p></p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">上海市气功研究所</p><p>诞生时,正值气功最鼎盛狂热的时代,之后是不可挽回的颓势和举步维艰。它究竟经历了什么?又怎样延续下去?被曾经轰轰烈烈又拐向荒诞、诡谲的热潮打下了怎样的烙印?</p><p>所长李洁告诉记者,长久以来她都回避媒体的采访,这样的“冷”的状态已经持续了很长的时间。</p><p>1999年之后,老同志渐渐退休了,却没有新人补充进来,气功所同时面临严重的生存压力。</p><p>之后的管理主要归“体育口”。前不久当气功所设计新logo时,收到的设计方案都是武术动作。“不不不,这不能充分表达我们”,最终还是由所里的人绘制了一个太极的图案。</p><p>气功的内涵太多,涉及所谓身心灵的几乎所有面向。</p><p>一直以来,气功都是被归为中医学下面的一个三级学科,想学气功方向只有学针灸推拿专业。而气功只有针灸推拿专业这么窄吗?这只是它最实用主义的部分。“气功”的\"气”来自中医理论,背后是中国的宇宙观和深厚的儒释道传统。</p><p>对气功的研究长久以来也是沿着医学、科学的路子,医史文献背景出身的李洁决心加强的是其中人文传统和哲学的比重,她正在为此筹措着更多的研究资金。</p><p>两次气功热已经过去了,第三次还没到来,这次希望的是回归国学的本来面目。一直在冷,“但冷也有冷的好处,可以把问题想清楚”。</p><p>作为一个研究者和学者,李洁感觉时机快到了,这是一个倒过来借国外来说话的时代。美国NIH(国家卫生研究院)连续做了多年研究,在德国、法国,气功已经进入了医保体系,现在又赶上了中国传统文化复兴。“时机不对,很难获得别人的理解。”</p><p>关于沉默的过去,李洁也表示:“我终于可以跟你聊聊气功,可以面对媒体,因为我们真的做过反思。”</p><p>上海市气功所斑斓史:曾站在气功热的高潮</p><p>上海市气功所究竟经历了什么?它的第一个前身——上海市气功疗养所已经有57年的历史了,1957年,那是一个建国后的疗养院时代,那段历史已经超出了年轻人的记忆和想象。</p><p>建国后医疗资源非常有限,而且慢性病也没有很好的药物和方法,罹患这些疾病的老革命们非常需要不一样的疗法。</p><p>“气功”最初由一个叫刘贵珍的人提出。他用“气功”来概括在“导引”和其他各家各派功法中发现的东西,因为它们都涉及到精微的中医之“气”。后来的汉学家把这一尝试视为中国气功现代化诠释的开始。</p><p>之后气功便风靡了疗养院。</p><p>1955年,唐山建立了有史以来的第一个气功专业机构——唐山市气功疗养所,后者因为对气功疗法的临床观察获得了卫生部的表扬。</p><p>这是新中国的第一次全国性气功高潮,乘着天时地利人和,得到了政府的大力支持,陈毅、林伯渠、谢觉哉等领导人纷纷进行了练功或题词。</p><p>上海市气功疗养所是全国最早的三家气功专业单位之一,受当时卫生部委托举办了“全国气功师资进修班”。</p><p>之后是“文革”,“文革”是气功的冬天,民间的气功和中医都遭到了严格的限制。1976年“文革”结束之后,气功才渐渐在大众中重获解放,并掀起了第二轮气功浪潮。国家科委、国防科工委、国家安全部等重要部门都对气功进行了研究,新华社等众多媒体做了不遗余力的宣传。</p><p>1978年是标志性的一年,气功跻身科学的行列。上海市气功研究所的第二个前身上海市中医研究所,与上海中医学院、中国科学院一道,用现代科学仪器对“外气”进行了测试,证明“气功”之气是有物质基础的,使气功进入了科学的行列,成为探索生命科学的新课题,从而把气功科学研究推进到一个新的阶段。</p><p>李洁在采访中常常感念地提到钱学森,正是他认为气功应当从属于生命科学的范畴。</p><p>而李洁认为更重要的历史性时刻是1979年的“气功汇报会”,这是一场空前的盛会,甚至得到了国务院领导的支持,由国家科委、国家体委、卫生部、中国科学院等单位在北京联合召开。</p><p>这个事件轰动全国,留在一代人的心中。它整合了不同的学科,如物理等学科都开始研究同一个问题。在这之后,各地采用仿生学方法模拟气功师发放的红外信息,制造了气功红外信息治疗仪。</p><p>如果说“气功报告会”是第二轮气功热的高潮,那么其中最主要的科学内涵就体现在上海市气功研究所。</p><p>因为前面这些工作的铺垫,1985年,上海市中医研究所进行了方向调整,开始以研究气功为主要工作方向,成立了上海市气功研究所。将原有的气功研究室扩充为气功原理研究室、气功效应研究室、气功文献情报研究室,并开设了气功医疗门诊部。</p><p>现在上海市气功研究所医疗门诊部依然开在南昌路的繁华地段,科学会堂附近,是一幢民国老建筑,优雅的小洋房。定位为中医药类的非药物治疗为主,虽未打过广告,却应接不暇。</p><p>\n</p><p center;\">门诊部所在的老洋房最初是一个医生的寓所,为了帮助共产党,还曾有过地下的电台架设在那里。</p><p>从1985年起,上海市气功研究所就开始自己筹办“上海•国际气功科学研讨会”,迄今已经办了12届,在国外有很大的影响力。</p><p>目前上海市气功研究所既搞科研,又做医疗,还进行教学、培训和文化传播。</p><p>出现在名单上的气功功法包括:放松功、站桩功、导引养生功、六合功、医疗八段锦、六字诀、回春功、易筋经等。这些字眼比起外来的瑜伽等功法远为令人陌生,“在这里学气功的外国人都跟我说觉得诧异,他们自己是千里迢迢来学,但为什么中国年轻人却不喜欢,瑜伽已经变成了每个人都要练一练的时尚,自己的东西却无人问津”。</p><p>\n</p><p center;\">一位来自法国的青年人类学学者来到上海市气功所学习气功,他热爱气功,并一直希望能留下。</p><p>气功热发展到90年代出现了众所周知的乱象,偏离了方向,各种真假大师出现,部分人对特异功能的偏执追求徘徊在超自然和伪科学的边缘。</p><p>少数邪教和有害功法使得整个气功界受到了影响,然后是气功“两个高潮、两个低谷”的第二个低谷。</p><p>就复杂的历史和思考中的未来,李洁接受了记者的专访:</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>怎样评价八九十年代的气功热?</p><p><b>李洁:</b>最主要的是方向没把准。气功之所以热是因为有一定的效果,但方向却迷失了。当一股热潮热到一定程度时,往往会走偏掉。大众变得盲目,只追求表象,如特异功能的异象,内核的东西却流失了。作为老百姓,身体不好时希望改善是人之常情,在练习的过程中又体会到一些特殊的东西,体会到了,却不理解,如果被指引的偏掉,那就走远了。改善了身体之后,接下来的应该是养性、明心、见智,去悟真正的道。</p><p>为什么后来气功热走到了一个极致?出现了所谓的伪气功、伪大师,一旦他们开始追求名、追求利、追求个人崇拜和敛财,民众要有理性判断。我认为甄别真假很容易,你就看他作为一个指引者自己追求的是什么。大师的德性太重要了。</p><p>由于气功、内功等具有较强的实践性,深入学习就需要老师指点才不至于走弯路。对此,我们建议初学者最好去正规的培训机构接受有资质老师的教学,同时加强自身中国传统文化的熏陶,以便更好地把握气功锻炼的精髓,让传统气功能够为当代人的身心健康服务。</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>现在的练习者来自来自官方还是民间?</p><p><b>李洁:</b>有一些政府机关和机构会邀请我们去教气功。我们是从去年年底才开始开班的,我们一直有很大的生存压力,但并没有因此就去盲目追逐利益,每周有对民众开放的免费公益公开课和气功史陈列馆,这是因为感觉到大的氛围在变化,民众有这样一种需求。我们一直很担心这块牌子可能被理解不准确的人利用。明年我们建所30周年,会出一个对我们核心理念的阐述。方向不准,还不如冷着,倒不至于害到别人。</p><p>1999年之后,气功转向体育口,走比赛、考级的路线,对正面普及民众肯定有好处。</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>您对气功的学科定义怎么看?我们知道气功有复杂性,有无法量化为数据的部分。</p><p><b>李洁:</b>两次气功热,首先是医疗的需要,身体的需要,然后是科学的需要,第二次气功热就是科学带动的。只有看得见摸得着的才是科学吗?科学有两块,既有自然科学,也有社会科学。从研究角度,既有定量的,也有定性的。所以我们的定位,一个是现代科学,一个是传统文化,都要做。</p><p>人文社科可做的很多,我们已经在做了,但是说实话,资助很有限,因为整个中医门类都是放在自然科学中的。中医的人文社科比重特别重,我们气功就更特殊了,我们所里会贴一些钱来做这些事。</p><p>现在有一个很好的契机,上海市卫计委中医发展办公室的“新三年上海中医药发展计划”中,有一个版块叫“文化建设”。我们也去申报了,可能明年能得到这方面的资助,做一些文化研究、文献梳理和文化传播。</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>国外对“气功”一词的使用是怎样的?</p><p><b>李洁:</b>气功在国外就直译为Qigong,也有人想过意译,找一个对应的单词。但钱学森钱老说了一句话:怎样翻译都可能翻不清楚,内涵太多了,让老外慢慢学习去吧。</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>气功在国外的流行状况是怎样的?</p><p><b>李洁:</b>从80年代,气功就开始在国外被关注。在德国、法国,气功很早就进入了医保体系。欧美国家是非常推崇气功的,基础研究和临床研究都做了很多。美国NIH(国家卫生研究院)每年都资助气功研究,还有资助研究冥想(meditation)的,类似于我们的静坐,还有太极拳的研究等等。欧洲的方式不同,基础研究较少,临床观察较多,在现代医学收效甚小的领域,如抑郁症、高血压、糖尿病、颈椎病、腰腿痛、慢性疲劳综合征、肿瘤后期康复,就会找到气功。</p><p>这是从医疗的角度,国外也有一些传播者,是从中国传统文化的角度切入的。有人通过练习气功,幸福指数和社会适应度都改善了,从生命体验的角度变得不一样了。尤其是欧洲人,更注重对生命本身的感悟,而美国人更在意现代科技。</p><p>近年来,在世界范围内的气功热是很明显的,这种现象一方面与当代中国政治经济地位大幅提高有关,同时也是我们传统文化的独特魅力之使然。</p><p><b>澎湃新闻:</b>那么上海市气功所在国际交流中有哪些感受?</p><p><b>李洁:</b>我们长期和加州大学尔湾分校的校长合作,他是生物物理学家,一直在用物理的方法研究气功。美国一个民办的气功大学也在跟我们谈合作,他们的学员遍布北美、欧洲、澳大利亚。法国巴黎东方文化中心也一直在和我们合作,日本气功学会也一直和我们保持着联系。</p><p>我们一直在办国际培训班,学员很多是企业高管和领馆工作人员,很多人来中国寻找气功的缘起,然后找到了我们。我们也希望外国人的热情能带动中国人的关注。</p><p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n</p><p>我们在国际交流中,越来越深切地感受到,中国地位提高和传统文化魅力这两种因素同时并存,而气功、养生文化作为一种软实力更容易在当今发挥出积极的民间作用。我们希望气功研究的学者、气功锻炼的受益者、中华传统文化的爱好者们联合起来,推动未来的发展。我对未来是乐观的。</p>","status":0,"pv":1244,"link":"1","createdAt":"2022-07-28T05:19:58.000Z","updatedAt":"2024-12-21T04:07:21.000Z","field":{},"tags":[]}
